Yeah, the mill doesn't care what it cuts. Wood is easier than metal. I found a nice stick of 3" x 1/4" aluminum last night in the garage and will have to find out about some 2" Friday when I'm off.

If your not wanting to tackle the job of mass producing these parts yourself, you could look into this place, http://www.emachineshop.com/ . they have a free cad program that allows you to design and price the part you are making, it factors material, machining process, how many, if you want them individually wraped, plus it gives you a shiping quote. There is alot of good stuff that you could make with this program, im currently trying to use it to make a 36-1 wheel, pickup bracket, and cover for a yamaha xs750 that i am trying to convert to efi. Just a thought.

Thanks for the link, I'll have to look into that if this takes off. For me the machine time is free and I have a bunch of used tooling that was given to me to play / learn with, the metal has been bought to do around 24 if I don't screw any up. I still need to find some smaller sheets of lexan or pirate some scraps. I hope to build the jig to do two bezels at once and start the job tomorow night after work. It's a three day week so I'll see how far I get.

I think I have some lexan laying around like a 12x12 pieces if intrested I'll look for them and see if there still there.

I've been working on the bezels after work, so far five steps are done which amount to the metal cut to size, the mounting holes being drilled and counter sunk, and the outside shapes cut and bevelled. This evening after work I hope to get the lamp bore milled and bevelled. Then I'll just have three more cuts on the back for the lamp housing and the lens to recess into, then polish them and start on the lenses. So far I have 26 parts to work with.
