Ford 300 6 cylinder brackets and pulleys

Post by Ohiotinkerer »

I've got a 1968 300 straight 6 for my next project and wanted to see if anyone has swapped the later model 300 power steering and alternator brackets, water pump and crank pulleys onto an older one like mine. Planning on a 3g alternator and really want the serpentine belt instead of running v belts and would like to know if it will fit (or come close) before I go to the junkyard and buy it because it I do with my luck it won't fit......

Sure will - too damn miserable out to scrounge around the yards this time of year up here and I'm in TN right now for Thanksgiving and getting ready to attempt to get the wheels and brake drums off my freebie 67 F250 so I can get it rolling and out of its 20 year resting spot........... :D
