Correct Engine Gasket Kit

Post by bjde0b »

I know you have seen a lot of my posts lately, but here is another. There are two full engine gasket sets available at Autozone, but I don't know what the additional parts are in the more expensive one. They are the round things at the bottom of the picture.

$67.99

I would rather walk than spend one penny at Auto Zone. :nono:

You may each have your own opinions. I purchased the more expensive Fel-Pro kit today. I live in a Little Mexico part of Houston. I worked at O'Reilly's while in college. I used O'Reilly's exclusively (while hating Autozone) when rebuilding this truck eleven years ago. I have an Autozone and O'Reilly's equal distant from my house (less than 1/2 mile). The few times I went to O'Reilly's I had bad experiences. The worst was I spoke to three different employees before I was able to speak with someone who spoke English, then that guy said he didn't have what I needed. I then went to Autozone and they had what I needed. I did this two more times and decided I was boycotting O'Reilly's.

I now know almost all of the employee's at Autozone by name. I will pay more for a good service and an equal part.
