Interesting. The SBF's, SBC's I have seen all had four barrel carbs. The one FE I ever remember seeing in person (I have probably seen more in the past but didnt know what it was other then a Ford) had a four barrel carb. The 302 in my friends F100 has a two barrel carb.
In my mind a two barrel carb just seems small. Tho most of my engine experience centers around racing.

My 67 f250 had a 4 bbl on the 352. I got that truck in 76. It had a cast iron manifold.

I also thought 4 bbl's were available in 69, but after a little web research it seems that they weren't put on
trucks until 1975-76 390's.
