Grabber Blue Bump Pics??

Post by dantheman71 »

So I desperately need to pick a color for my truck because it is at the paint shop right now and I need to make a final decision ASAP. I was going to do lime green because I want it to jump out of a crowd. The problem with that is lime green is generally associated with Dodges (mostly Chargers??) so I kind of want to choose a FORD color. With Ford bringing back Grabber Blue on the 2010 Mustang I am thinking I might go with that.

Just wondering if anybody has any pics of bumpsides that are painted Grabber blue. Preferably all one color without the chrome side trim. Here is all I have found so far.

Here is the 2010 Mustang

My truck will have the exact same grille and clear signals as the one above, but mine is a long box that is lowered and will not have any trim down the side of the truck. It might be a little too much blue?? Thanks for your help

I don't think either of these are actually 'Grabber Blue' either but they are close. I always thought the one that is just blue (not two tone) might be the 2004 Mustang color - (possibly called Azure Blue??)

that two tone one is Ratfink's. I asked him what color it was because i was interested in painting mine that color so i saved the name of the color with the pic of the truck :D Im not painting my truck this color anymore but its a nice color.

I like that Azure Blue as well. It was a color on the Mach 1 Mustangs in 2003.

The Harbor Blue is good too but I don't think it would look good as a monotone. Without the white and chrome it would look dull in my opinion.

Thanks for the help!!

I think DuckRyder's XLT truck, AKA as Smurftruck was a Grabber Blue, you can see the truck by clicking on his personal webpage. Maybe he can enlighten us on the history of that particular color.

All these are southern Arizona desert trucks, little to no rust, but the sun takes its toll,ha.

Thanks for the help. I am thinking that my truck might look very plain without hardly any chrome (except grill and front bumper).

I finally found a Grabber Blue bump pic without the chrome trim. Mine will look the same only mine is lowered and will have bigger wheels smaller tires. After looking at it, I don't know if I like it....

have the bump accented with white pinstripes. your truck would still be blue, but there would be a little bit of added definition.

That last all blue truck is sharp. Hmmm too bad my truck came from the factory red, I really like blue vehicles. I know it is not a ford color but I like 1996 cobalt corvette blue. My '72 chebby when done will be that color.

I can not figure out how to show it here.
