I have already flipped the hanger . I had some questions as to the amount I gained . These pictures show various points on the frame beore and after. At the end of the frame rail the diffence shown between the blue tape is 6 1/4"

Cool. Thanks for the info! It looks like about 3-3/8" at the front hanger and 5-1/2" at the rear hanger. So, if the axle tube is roughly halfway between the spring eyes, it would be about 4-3/8 to 4-1/2 inches at the center of the wheel opening yes? Do you have pictures of the truck with the bed back on it yet? I'm not 100% sure yet but I'll probably be doing the full flip. Man, you did a lot of work just for some numbers but thanks again!!!

This is all I have the 1st one is original pic of the truck while it was DD.(edit0You cant tell from the 1st pic ,and one of the reasons I took that shot, the bed is full of fully assembled 302 . The second is the bed just sitting and may not be down as far as it should.
kinda gives "me" an idea of where it will end up.
The pic of the weld is what i was shooting for.

It looks to me like it will fit with a styleside too due to the bed's crossmember thickness but the full flip looks to be the maximum for the hanger only flip. It looks like it's exactly what I want. Best of all, no $$$ except for some new grade 8 bolts.

If you are judging by the picture with the weld I dont think we had the bed all the way forward were it belonged. Juding by the factory holes and where it's now bolted, if it moved front or back it went back and not enough to matter. When you come by I'll show you what I'm talking about and you be the judge.

Maybe I missed it, but what if any degree of shims did you put in to make up the difference with the pinion angle?

Because of different rate springs and the different amount of arc or sag, the degree of angle shims necessary to bring pinion angle into spec. will vary from vehicle to vehicle. You simply have to measure pinion angle after hanger mod and go from there. 4-5 degrees of pinion angle will work.
