Still looking at $20 plus shipping. I did get the last two cuts done on the aluminum bezel last night and hope to at least cut out the lexan lenses this evening. Then it's just the polishing.

No new thread, this is the list that I will go by and no child will be left behind. Every one that wants one will get one, but it may take a bit more time for the second batch. Every program has been saved so I just have to get the materials and time to make some more.

I tried to do the lens last night and got my but kicked with the program. For some odd reason the dimensions I was working with weren't working and it wasn't fitting so I had to edit the whole dang thing and then it was a little narrow so I added to the Y and not the X and made it taller and not wider... Figured it was time to stop so I did.

I did deburr the bezels and got them ready to polish so something got accomplished out of two hours work...

Today while waiting on the bondo to cure on the door I managed to polish six of the bezels. Takes about ten minute to do each one.

Any advice for polishing them or maybe a clear coat? Or will they be good as is?

Polishing is going to be your choice. They'll have a three foot shine, but if you get up onto them you'll see the polishing haze and some machine marks. I'd consider clearcoating them if you live by the sea, but I haven't had any problems with polished aluminum inside the car. The Paxton on the mustang gets a white haze from the winter salt that's hard to polish out,but the inside aluminum on the car stays nice.
