With our emails it seemed like Paul was a good guy trying to do the right thing. Again I am sorry for any thing I suggested to end up causing heartache or loss of money to the members on this site.

gregamorton, Wow, talk about standing up. Outstanding!

I surely appreciate your sympathy. If you insist on offering your apology for this fiasco, I will accept it. But, you have been duped yourself. Please don't take any responsibility for Paul's shortcomings. You made a most excellent suggestion and had no hand in the twisted turn that followed.

Ahh, I see
Gentlemen, since we do not have access to Paul at this moment, I suggest that we now direct our focus to Greg, Paul's accomplice....

:D Just kidding.

I remember that the second batch of harnesses problem was told to those waiting that the store he bought the parts from was out of stock of the headlight plugs in particular the one female conector that connects to the passenger headlights harness. I recall that it ended up with everyone that had waited the extra time got their harness shortly after his return to the forumns. Yes the not coming back right away to say hey i'm waiting on the parts and just letting everyone stew was bad comunications for sure and was shady. The getting the harness's out once the part came in was good.

In the past he made it right. I can hope he will agian. And will be extremely sad if he don't.

Okay, I have just recieved an email from Gene's wife after I asked her if she had any direct way of making donations. She told me that some of Gene's friends have already setup a memorial fund in his name which you can make donations directly by Paypal. If anyone is interested in making a direct donation, please contact me via PM and I will give you the info. I would post it here, but as you know it contains an email address that would probably attract attention from web crawlers. Mods or Admin, if there is another way to do it, please let me know.

By no means trying to "re-kindle" a fire. I leave the forum for a couple of days and this happens, unbelievable...
A point to make I do have though! There are children who still need our help.
Turn the focus toward that and move past the bad thing that has happened here!

I would like to apologize to Tim for my stupid mistake. I see the post has been removed and I thank admin for doing so. In the heat of the moment I got mixed up.
This whole travesty had me quite upset and I didn't think before I jumped.
So, to all who may have seen my rant, I apologize. :nono:

John,
I actually thought it was kinda funny. Your post was so off the wall that it made me chuckle a bit. Not that the topic of this thread is in any way funny, but your post and the following few replies did provide some comic relief.

 I was mortified when I realized what I had done.

I still think what this member has been done is inexcusable. To scam trusting people is one thing, but to use a tragedy, such as this, as platform is disgraceful.
