I should be able to sell the rear ends too right? What else can I sell? Besides the scrap aluminum and frame?

Not sure how much they weigh to be honest. Those sound like decent trucks to me. The guy I know that has the 4BT's buys them off dovebid as well.

I got a call today from a guy selling a couple bread trucks. I have an ad up in some classifieds for a 4bt. His are chevy chassis. When I told him about the ones in NM and how much I would be getting them for he said that is a good deal. His all have problems and one is in Missouri and one in Idaho. I wont be getting his!!!

It's a lot of money. They're in pretty high demand right now, but I'm stretched kinda thin at the moment. He said they aren't going anywhere so we'll how I stand in a few weeks.

I'm doing another 4BT swap! I got a guy bringing his '86 F-150 4x4 in for a swap tomorrow. He called me up, said he'd heard about my repowers and wants to know what trucks they fit into best so he can buy one and have a 4BT truck to drive. I told him to find an 80-97 F series with a manual. Well, today he bought an '86 F-150 4x4 for $500 and tomorrow he's going to be putting $6000 into it. Wish I could do that!

Hey Mike, the more I fiddle with these things the more I like the Ford ZF transmissions. The NV4500's make me a lot of business, and for that reason I'd recommend not using one if you don't like throwing money away.

You should be able to get $150 or better for a working t-19. Probably the same for each dana 70.
