crank pulleys

Post by fordman »

i have a 71 390 this enigne had factory air and power steering. the crank has three belt pulleys on it. isn't the front pulley suppose to come aprt from the back set of two pulleys? all three pulleys are the same size. i tried heating them thinking they were stuck but that didn't do anything. i had the whole thing up on the bench off of the engine. so its not bolted together.

No, it does not come apart. Original factory Ford pulleys are one single piece because they are welded together in the center, only aftermarket ones will come apart. Hawkrod
