Help with 1990 F700 429 Fuel Pressure Regulator Spec

How's everyone, its been awhile.

Does anyone know what the factory fuel pressure setting would be on a 1990 F700 7.0L (429-4V) w/factory electric pump in saddle tank?
The original fuel pressure regulator is bad and the only two replacements I can find that fit like the original are:
1-4 p.s.i. adjustable but comes set at 2.7
or
4 1/2 - 9 p.s.i. adjustable but comes set at 7

I read that the holley carb needle and seats can handle up to 8 p.s.i and some others say don't run more than 6 1/2 ?? any ideas
