Units exhibiting a slow crank after a one to ten minute hot soak should be handled as follows:
- 1. Check all starter, solenoid and battery connections for corrosion and tightness.
2. Check battery for proper charge, recharge if specific gravity is below 1.250.
3. Remove starter and lube the end plate bearings.
