Summary: Ford Campaign No. H-1B. Light trucks built between Aug. 16, 1971 and Oct. 14, 1971, F-100 thru F-350 series
Possibility that seat belt and shoulder harness attaching bolts were improperly processed during heat treating and plating operations.
Consequence: If conditions persist, may cause bolts to be susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement, fracturing after installation.
Remedy: Correct by inspecting and replacing with properly heat-treated bolts.
