Coolant plate under carburator

Post by Gaslight »

I have a 69 with the 360 2 barrel. I still have the coolant plate between the carb and intake. I am putting the stuff together to converter it to a 4 barrel and would like to continue to use the plate. Did Ford offer a 4 barrel version? A little searching has netted me almost nothing.

They sure did. may be easier to find them listed under car application. try searching ebay for galaxie, torino, etc, along those lines.

Rich,

Thank you. Went back and modified my search as a "carb spacer" and bam! There they are. Never occurred to me the word coolant should not be there.
