Excuse me? I’m the only moderator presently here and I’ve done nothing but try to help you.

"How to find the right gasket for my engine?
The best idea is to find a gasket that is the right thickness and has a bore that is the closest to the actual bore of the engine without being smaller then the cylinder."

Pretty sure @DuckRyder said that.

First of all, I am not a moderator..... I will stop there? There are so many unanswered questions within your post. Clearly this motor has been put together in this fashion to benefit someone at one point. Why is it apart? When was the last time your truck was on the road or had a running engine in it?

96 jag ranger wrote: Tue Mar 15, 2022 5:00 pm Fine about the head gasket.but why does this motor have a 391 oil pump with the 5 sixteenth oil pump shaft and the 391 dist.and the intake that matches the 391 dist.anyone know the answer.also my new head's are a mismatch one is a c8aeh the other one is a c6ae I didn't know about the mismatch untill I opened the box es is that going to be a problem.thank you they look the same small ports and small valve chambers.
No idea why it has an FT distributor and oil pump, only answer I can give you is someone thought it was advantageous at some point. I personally would change it to FE stuff but it sounds like funds are not plentiful.

I will have to research the heads as I'm not familiar with C6AE you'll have to give me some time too, lot going on right now.
