Power Steering Conversion

Post by jf100 »

I got everything except the plate that attaches to the firewall. I have a 69 F100 custom cab manual steering I got every thing out of a 70 ford f100. Can i use mine or do I need to get that plate. I am putting everything in this week so I can get measurements so I can have the gear box rebuilt. Thanks for any and all info. Have a blessed night..

if you are talking about the plate that engine bay side on firewall, yes you will need it. The plate should have "power steering" embossed on it. The manual steering plate does not have it. You might want to grab the plate that has a rubber seal from inside the cab firewall also.
