Brake booster seal

Post by NC72crew »

Would anyone happen to have the plastic piece that goes between the brake booster and the firewall for a 72? Mine was busted. If not has anyone used anything else as a seal.

If memory serves me correctly no one was reproducing this part, (either bone yard sourced or obsolete parts sourced)? :hmm:

Try Green Sales to start, (did you try DC yet)?

Why do you don‘t use a standard rubber Firewall grommet with the right OD? Just punch a hole of the puschrod diameter in it and your done...

I used a a rack and pinion tie rod bellows from for a 91ish escort, cut it for length but I'm sure other models will work. Fit tight on the rod and the fire hole.
