Inline 6 Radiator Options

Looking to replace the radiator in my 68 F100, inline 6 240. Obviously it has a rather small radiator opening. Does anybody make a quality aluminum radiator that would fit in such a narrow opening or would it be beneficial to fit a v8 sized radiator instead? I do live in Florida so the additional cooling would be appreciated.

You might want to check with Champion Aluminum Radiator: https://www.championradiators.com/ to see if they have one that would fit or other suggestions. They do carry them for our trucks, you can see some reviews on Champion if you type Champion Aluminum Radiator in the search area of our website. Summit, Jeggs, ebay would be good places to look for best price.

According to this Fordification fact sheet, you will have to make some modifications to your radiator core support for the V8 size radiator to fit:

I ended up going with a Champion radiator designed for a Chevy V8 swap because it places the inlet/outlet on the correct side for the inline 6. I’ll just have to trim the sheet metal but all the holes are there for the larger radiator.
