I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

I brought my Marti report in to work with me, so here’s the info:

Important Dates:
Order Received: 01/31/69
Truck Serialized: 01/31/69
Scheduled for Build: 02/14/69
Actually Built: 02/15/69
Released: 02/15/69
Sold: 06/25/69

Statistics:
It was 1 of:
7,967 Painted this color (Tucson Gold)
5,950 with this paint/trim combination
120,979 with this engine/transmission (360-2V/Cruise-O-Matic)
12,122 Ordered from this DSO
9,191 Ordered with Explorer 2 Package B

It was ordered with the following options:
Front Chrome Bumper
Ammeter and Oil Pressure Gauges
Oil Bath Air Cleaner
8.25 x 15 4 Ply Rated Black Sidewall Tires
Juni8on Chrome Western Swing-Lock L/R Mirrors
Brake Vacuum Booster
Bright Grill Moulding
Body Side Mouldings
Manual AM Radio
Tinted Glass-Complete
Cigarette Lighter
Power Steering
1,250 lb. Rear Springs
Explorer 2 Package B

According to my Grandfather, he bought it from the University of Arkansas in 1971 and it has been in the family ever since. It has seen a LOT of use being used as a truck should be used… working!!

It’s interesting there were at least 9,191 Explorers out there in 69.

Anyway, I just thought I would share! :D
