Custom wiring?

Post by rjewkes »

Are there good places to get the the Wire harness wired up with the wires bundled neatly for your radios and other goodies?

Painless Wiring looks to be the best. They have kits that are specific to Ford. They are just a little higher than the others.
EZ Wiring also makes a pretty nice kit, but I don't think it is specific to the brand.
There are some others out there, but these 2 look like the best.

I've used http://www.ronfrancis.com before on a couple other projects. They will make just about anything you want.

We are going to change the wire in the truck and we have one nice harness for plug ends only. I don't think I need the other one I have and I know it is in perfect shape. I do not want to cut this harness some one will need it for a project this is under dash with fuse box! As soon as i get and idea as to what we are going to use i am going to unload a lot of parts. We went with Ron Francis you wouldn't believe how nice this set up is (well worth the money). Everything is there!!!

I have had good luck with painless in the past. Good kit and is not too bad on the pocket.
