F250 drum/disc conversion

Post by Tucsontoy »

Working on converting from drum to disc brakes on a 1969 F250 2wd. Can not find a rotor to fit my spindles. The inventory of 70's models is used up in mt area.
Has anyone looked into a complete 1996 F350 2wd assembly retrofit into a 1969?

Umm...how exactly would you connect the spindles to the bump I beams? :hmm:
Another possible option that a few guys have talked about is using the dent era, (when you say "the 70's are used up-do you see any 73-79 era trucks in the boneyards there)?

Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

Hear is a very good explanation of disc brake conversions for both F100 and F250's, created by Keith (founder father of Fordification).
