A few weeks ago, my right brake light went out. I fiddled with the turn signal and it came back on. So I ordered a new turn signal switch. I have not changed it yet, but now nothing works. No brake lights, no turn signals, no tails lights. Everything works on the dash and in the front. Could this all be related to the turn signal switch or do I need to look at other stuff as well?
Any ideas would be most appreciative.

Everything in the rear runs through the turn signal switch. Only the front turn signals do. The headlights and parking lghts and dash lights, except the turn signal indicators, run through the headlight switch.

Changed the turn signal switch. Didn't fix the issue. I'm tracking down my wiring now. Any ideas on where else to look?

His seemed to be a power issue, but I have front signals, just not back. And still no tail lights, brake lights or flashers, but only in the back. I have no obvious breaks in the wiring and no corrosion. Still looking.

OK, fellows. I believe I heaved reached a whole new level of stupid. After checking like every connection in the entire truck, I decided to see if I had power at the socket. Sure enough. Then I decided to look at the bulbs, both blown. Didn't look blown, but upon closer inspection (I put my glasses on) I saw the breaks. Apparently the bad splices in the turn signal switch, done 22 years ago, blew out my bulbs. Either way I taking the time clean up all of my connections and hopefully will be good for the next 22.
