ZF 5 speed to 460 engine.
Hello...can someone tell me what ZF 5 spd trans. I need that will work with a '76 460 that will be going into a '70 bump. It currently has a 4 speed manual in place. Also, will the diesel version of the ZF work with an adaptor, or what is involved. Thanks!

You can swap the diesel case with a gasser case if you need to. PITA factor it high. Dealing with the hydraulic clutch is going to be the largest issue. The bump firewall is to flimsy to bolt the MC to directly. You'll need to brace and frame off of the brake master cylinder mount.
