Hello all! I got my '72 F100 short bed 4x4 in October. Doing a mechanical restoration. So far I have done the front suspension including springs, shocks, and bushings. I hadn't realized how saggy my springs were until I did this. Raised the front about two inches! After that my truck looked like a '50s gasser. I then used a leaf from an old set of springs I had laying around and added it to my leaf pack. Raised it up just enough and leveled her out. I also put in new bushings and springs in the back. Currently working on brakes. I am replacing all rubber lines. Steel ones still look good. New drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, adjusters, power brake booster, and master cylinder. Replacing wheel bearings while I am in there. It's really good to have this site as a resource!
