Bed question

Post by sawdust1 »

My truck is a 69 ranger. I found a fairly clean 70-72 bed to replace my rusty bed.
I remember seeing where someone grafted in the back corners by the taillights from a 67-69 bed onto a 70-72 bed.
Can anyone help me find this?
Thanks!

Awesome! I was just about to post the same question. I have a garbage bed on my '69 and picked up a clean '71 bed with the ugly reflectors.

Even better! That's how I was thinking of doing it, just cut all the way through to the tail light hole

Hey Sargentrs thanks for the thread. That is how I am doing it. I sandblasted and primed the bed seam faces and I am planning on seam sealing those when I weld back together
Thanks!
