I like a nice roll of duct tape, you can set it on the floor or the seat. :D

Ha, that will definitely not hold my coffee bouncing around on a fire road. :-)

Yes. that is the one. Works great and doesn't slide around because of the backing. I found it on eBay where it was a little cheaper.

I have one of these I've moved from vehicle to vehicle for years. Fits the seat well, good height for an elbow prop, adjustable cup holders and doesn't slide around. Limited color choice though.

Made from 1/4" plywood and old wheel center caps. Attached to the seat frame with "L" brackets.

How's the seating position vs stock. Looks like it sits lower which might be nice, more steering wheel clearance. Need some seat work on my truck, and have considered swapping to a later model like that. The cupholder and armest would be a nice bonus.

Talk about something being greater than the sum of it's parts. That definitely qualifies!

it's almost the same, maybe an inch lower with the way the seat cushion is contoured

Needed something for my trip to TN but couldn't find a cheap decent solution so I made my own.......few pieces of scrap wood, 3" round aluminum tubing, flat black paint, and a piece of flat aluminum i got out of the scrap bin at work and bent to set over the transmission hump and I have a completely free cupholder. .... :woohoo:........I used a 3" hole saw and put the tubing in so that it I had a can of bottle it wouldn't bounce around but if I got a large drink from somewhere the tubes come out so it would fit - I added the iPod holder after I got back because I found out its not fun trying to change the channel on XM holding it in your hand driving a "wandering Ford"........
