You have to use everything including the steering column, firewall bracket, steering gear and pitman arm. Engine brackets, pump, pulleys, etc should swap. You may have some issues with wiring harness for turn signals, NSS, etc requiring some rewiring at the column harness connector.

Unless you can find a Bendix P/S gear box, you'll have to shorten your current steering column. http://www.fordification.com/tech/steering-column.htm
For more conversion info with a steering column http://www.fordification.com/tech/powersteering.htm Headers + power steering has always meant clearance issues especially with an FE. I've had 3 "classic" vehicles in the past 10 years. My truck never had P/S, the others had factory P/S that didn't work. I never fixed them, wasn't worth the extra work and expense.

Yeah, you'd have a hard time squeezing a P/S box in there. What headers are those? I've seen a lot of FE header posts on here and those look like some of the best fitting clearances I've seen. Got more photos if how close they are to the frame and crossmembers?

Thanks for those photos! Looks like you have great clearance all around with those. I'm saving this thread so next time somebody posts about FE headers and clearance problems I can show them yours. 8)

How do you like the flow tech headers? Do you notice any resonance issues at certain speeds or RPM’s.
