Painless wiring harness

Post by mmccarron »

OK people,
How hard is it to rewire my truck with a painless wiring harness. I have never rewired a vehicle before and I wonder if I buy the almost $400.00 harness if I will have to have a auto wiring person to install it.

from what I understand, they are a pretty easy kit to install. Just follow the color-coded wiring.

But that is hearsay, as I have never used their kits.

While I was out of work last year, I installed one on a friend's Dodge W300. It was pretty darn simple.

I'd love to throw one at the Blue Beast, but...that'll never happen on my budget. Anything from Painless is big $$$.

Thanks guys,
I guess I'll buy one when I get ready to wire the beast. It has to be simple or I couldn't do it.
