We did officially get the house, and are all moved in. I have all of my truck parts inside in the separate garage, spare grilles hanging, and spare fenders under the work bench. I have to pick the body donor up in the next few weeks and bring it home. I would also like to bring the truck home and park it behind the garage so I can start tearing it apart!
Lots of action to come, just have to bring everything home.
Here's a picture of my '69 2wd in our new driveway!

Congratulations on purchasing the new house! It’s a step closer to getting to the truck.

Sorry guys, got distracted yesterday and ended up bringing home two 70's Harley AMF 90cc bikes as projects, so I have those going now as well... But I still have yet to bring the truck home or get the body donor parts... Planning is in works though!!

The new digs is awesome! A couple weeks ago they just finished with the install of our new septic system, and a couple weeks before that we had a decent birthday party for my son... On top of that, I have been battling with my F-100's brakes, and found that my issue was that the adjusters were not functioning properly. Now that everything else is completed and in order, it's back to the 4x4 project.
This past weekend my friend brought up the front clip from the truck we purchased together as well as the old bed off of his truck. Im going to start cleaning all of this up and painting it the best I can before putting it outside or on the truck (my wife is going to want to park in the garage over winter, so my time to occupy that space is very limited). The bed is far from perfect, the wells need replaced, as do the floor sections in front of and behind the bed, but all of those panels came with it. There is definitely some rust going on with the bed, but nothing bad enough that I can't make it presentable for years to come. After all, this is not a show truck build, I just want a 4wd Bumpside to enjoy and drive, yet still use as a truck from time to time.
The 4wd truck itself will be coming home within the week. It sounds like my brother in law and are going to try to get it running, just to see if we can do it.

Yeah, we're definitely going to take a good run at it, but the truck has to be brought home first. Gotta make timing work out with the guy that promised to move it for me! :x

You can borrow the 350 and the trailer.... might be a long expensive haul to get it and return the truck.

Well, since the truck isn’t here yet, I figured I’d get some time in on the bed, revealing the rusty areas and putting a coat of rust converter on it before it has to go outside (wife will want to park in the garage for winter).
However, upon wire wheeling, I found much more rust, patches, and bondo than I expected.
Not sure if this bed is worth my time, or if I should grind out the new panels and scrap it, or if I should just throw it on the truck for now until I come across a better one...
A few pics of what I found.

Thoughts/opinions? Keep in mind this is only the driver side rear of the bed. I can only assume the rest of the bed will be in similar/worse condition.
