well.. the whole cab is in great shape with the exception of the driver side cowl where there was an impact. the dent runs along the edge and up under the windshield. I tried a slide hammer and a few other things. doesn't look good. but I thought maybe if I could find a cab in bad shape with a good cowl I might be able to do the repair shown.

I personally have no idea how close the dentside cowl is to the bumpside. I'm sure it's similar, but that doesn't mean anything with it's install time. You could be spending more time than it's worth it to try and make it fit. I've got both types of trucks, but never did any cowl work on the dentside.
