Just about finished with box disassembly

Post by FORDification »

Things finally calmed down enough around here that I actually got to spend another day in the shop, trying to finish up with the '67 SWB box disassembly. Got it about 98% apart (as far as I'm going, anyway). I took a bunch of pictures and got started about 9PM last night getting them posted to a new project update page, but I had to deal with a little girl who apparently slept all day so she wanted to be up all night. Finally got it finished and posted in the wee hours.

Here's a sneak peek...this picture was taken after removing the inner bed wall & fenderwell and the lower outer bed skin:

Looks like quite a bit of work ahead of you on the bed.

I can't remember, do you plan on filling in the bedside seams?

Oh definitely! In fact, that's how I intend to attach the new bed skins. I'm not going to spotweld them on like the factory did
