1970 F250 4X4 Rebuild / Updating

Got the frame cut up today, now I have to get the spring hangers removed. I was able to get the spring bolts out but not the u-bolts yet. I will try to apply some heat with my small MAP Gas torch and hope that works.

Got the frame cut up and moved a side. I still need to get the U-Bolts off the rear axle. Did get a couple of the brackets off the frame still have a couple more. Need to save two of the cross braces for the rear mounted Mustang Tank conversion coming soon.

Need to make a list and take pictures of the parts to be sold off now.

I got the springs off that night. Now I can clean up the U-Bolts and Plates and remove the other Spring Hanger.

The wife am I spent the weekend at the NASCAR Race in Dover, De we had the best time even though the weather sucked. Only did a couple of things so far this week. Got my Sand Blast cabinet set up on its stand, now I have to use it. I hope to have the Cab off the frame on Saturday when my Brother and Nephew are here to pick up parts for his Crew Bump.

My brother came into town and picked up the Roof, Fenders, Hood Hinges, Entire Front Suspension, Steering Column and some other odds and ends for his 1972 Crew Cab Project. Worked out great for Him and I. Now I have to finish cleaning out the garage so I can pull the Cab and start working on the Frame.

Didn't get anything done on the truck this weekend. Did work on building storage in the garage.

I went out and bought a small trailer at Harbor Freight to put the cab on and keep it mobile. I will seal the bottom of the cab before I attach it to the trailer. Once on the trailer I will seal up all entry points so It can be stored outside. Small steps forward but at least they are forward.

Finished building the trailer. Got the Xmas decorations down from the attic in the garage. I have the last two weeks of the year off and hope to get the garage in shape for the winter. That way I can get to work on the frame and rear suspension upgrades.

No progress on the truck this past weekend. I did get the front brakes done on the daily driver 2012 focus.

Got the tranny out now the cab can be removed tomorrow. Finally got some work done.

Frame is out in the sun first time in quite some time. Tomorrow have to pull out the gantry crane and lift the cab onto the trailer.

Got the cab placed on the trailer all wrapped up. Now I have to clean up the garage before the frame goes back in for work.
