2nd annual PNW Meet and Greet 4X4 swap Meet March 12 2006

Post by heep70 »

OK folks, I can't wait any longer. I need to put the bug in the air. The 4X4 swap is just around the corner :woohoo: . I would like to do another Meet and Greet then. Last years gathering was a hit. http://www.fordification.com/PNW-Meet-and-Greet2.htm

There is a BBQ joint in that area we could grub at or if anyone has any other suggestions for food please fell free to speak up. This will give me time to make reservations if needed. Last year we did Niftys Fiftys in Puyallup suggested by Tazzman68. That was a big hit, very good burgers.

There is plenty of parking and I believe the entry fee is $5 and kids under 12 FREE. I will confirm this. All "Edits" will be posted at bottom of the post.

So place this date on your calendars. See you there F.O.R.D. :) (this diehard drives up from CA.)

4 X 4 SWAP MEET

LOCATION: Puyallup, WA.
DATES: March 12
PHONE: 253 843-1619

FYI there is another swap called the Early Bird swap at the same location. DATES: February 18 - 19
This one is not as big, but does offer parts for our old Fords.

ME and the Missus will def. be there! the '72 may not make it, but we will! and we'll drag the munchkin with us, so every can meet her!

Lets get everyone in the area out for this one! Last year was a really good time for all, and there is a lot of new members since last year!

OH yea, the swap meet is worth the price of going just to get new ideas and dreams for the projects, so don't think you have to buy anything to make it a great outing!

We wanna put in a vote for that little bar we went too last time with the 2-4-1 gigantic burgers.
if not there, or there's too many people for the bar to handle, then how about the Old Country Buffet (next to target on south hill). might work out better (no bill to divvy up afterwards!)

F.O.R.D - she's only 3 1/2 months right now, but growing like the proverbial weed! and no, I havent set up a custom stroller for her yet. But I am thinking of putting a gas engine on my golf cart for her! :-)

THANKS A LOT! now you got Liz on a quest for me to build Sammy a stroller. so I've been out in the garage welding junk together for her. We'll unveil it at the MNG.

:lolprev:
You got a few months to finish it. Above all, make it safe and make it with some type of cover to keep the sun off of her! Pneumatic wheels would be cool, too. Hot pink would be nice since Sammy's a girl. I'll let you know if I think of anything else for you. :P

Yes, I would like to do Nifty Fiftys again also. And the Old Country Buffet is always a winner to. Got your nomination
