reasons my son will not drive 91 f150

Post by jefeys »

Bought this truck from original owner for my son when he turned 16

he did not like the shell..claimed he could not see around it..we had no p[lace to store it so it had to stay on truck

one day i used the truck to pick up my daughter from her friends
on the way home I was followed by a cop
the cop followed me to my driveway
I stopped and asked him why
he said there was a complaint about a man and a woman driving a white truck in the neighborhood attempting to pick up girls
I said "well it is not me"
the cop said I know..( not sure how he knew)
So now neither my son or daughter will drive the F150
they call it
"the molester truck"

So now I am stuck driving the $400 ford
And I can assure everyone
there is no molesting at all in any way shape or form

Quick solution! Put the shell on Craigslist for dirt cheap and have whoever buys it come pick it up right off the back of the truck. Then you will have the open bed, a few more bucks in your pocket, kids that will drive the truck, and you will be molestation accusation free!!

If hi won't drive it... tell him to walk. You went through all the trouble of getting a vehicle for your son. And if he is too picky to drive it, he can get a job, and buy his own damn truck. Keep the truck for yourself, and don't let him drive anything else of yours!

My 13 year old son wants an old Mustang he can fix up and drive. I told him when he turns 14 he can get an after school job to save up and buy it, the parts, and the gas. He probably will. He saved all his birthday money and Christmas money to buy his own Xbox 360. He's learning to save to get what he wants.

When I was growing up, my dad owned his own body shop. He was always "horse trading" and always seemed to get another car from some deal from someone who couldn't pay cash to get their car fixed but had an extra car to trade. When I turned 16, I thought for sure that he would give me a car to drive. Nope! He did find an older Mustang that needed work and I worked to pay him for it. I also had to fix it up. Now my oldest daughter is about to start driving, am I going to give her a car? Nope! We have an old Buick Pukemobile that we've told her she can use to get to work until she saves to get the car she wants. Then we park the Buick until my youngest starts driving, and repeat the process.
