Meet-N-Greet (WEST COAST)

Post by j41385 »

Ok folks, I hope this is the right place to post this. I think we need to have a West Coast Meet 'n Greet. Since the last one was in Washington, I figure we should give the California boys a chance, and meet in the middle.
I say that we meet in Albany, OR. It's roughly the Centre point on the West Coast. Albany is right on I5 so it's not a jaunt into the countryside. 75 miles South of Portland, and 39 miles North of Eugene. I figure we'll have a BBQ. I would tend to guess that hamburgers is easiest. I am poor so there would be a small entry fee. (I know that sounds ghetto, but it is what it is.) So if possible I need a head count.

For those who have been following my Action reports, I have been granted more Vacation, only in October though. So I will be home soon, infact, I'm flying home tomorrow. So while I am home, I think this would be fun. I am going through Ford withdrawls.

Please RSVP to me, and We'll figure the best date for Everyone, I am thinking, mid to late October.

Depends on which weekend, October's filling up fast. Isn't it amazing how fast your weekends get booked up?

Dang! The timing's off for me. I need to finish my stairs on the house before I head anywhere. Besides, my Ford is waiting for me to install the power steering. The axle and leaf springs have been removed. That's a bummer because that would be a piece of cake to drive.
