Has anyone purchased anything from Blue Oval Truck Parts? I thought I would check on their rep. before I ordered something.

Yes, I order everything I buy from them if they carry it. They don't carry as much as NPD or Dennis Carpenter, LMC, however.

The reason I order from them is because they are located in California, like me, and no matter what I am buying, they send it "California Overnight," which is a great. That might not be the case for you, however.

Also, it seems like the same guy answers the phone everytime I call and I don't know if I'm crazy, but he seems to remember who I am. I like that kind of place. Maybe it's a small outfit?

I've heard both positive and negative about BOTP.
But I guess that could be said of just about any vendor.
My advice would be to order something small and see what happens.

I have had many positive dealings with botp and Larry, the owner. They do have a very weak forum board on the site, but Larry has always responded to my questions promptly. I haven't dropped alot of cash there, but all have been great experiences. I bought both my wiring diagram and body assembly manual from botp. I called to order it and he ran down to UPS to get it out that day. Just my 2 cents.

I've bought parts from here:

http://www.genuine-ford-parts.com/

They even carry the heater control valve. You can't shop by 72 truck but I got the part number from dennis carpenter ($35), punched it in and they had the same thing for $23.
