I did the Hella lamps with 80/100 watt bulbs, but I am having an issue with them cracking. The edges on the lamps are very ruff and I am guessing that the cracks are from that. I am waiting for Hella to reply with a decision. I think Faithful Old Road Dog is using Silverstars, but I am not for sure. You might want to PM him. The relays are the way to go at any rate.

Has anyone installed the Tri-Bar headlights in one of our trucks? I plan on putting them in mine eventually.

They are an aftermarket high visibilty light that uses new style H-4 bulbs inside of a stock size housing. They are flay faced with 3 bars insde them hence the name Tri-Bar very cool looking espicially with blue bulbs.

Ok, I remember them. I got the clear/blue bulbs in the Hellas I have. They do look cool. Even during the day they look blue turned off.
