lincoln continental introduced when?

Post by one_am »

just bringing it to the admins attention that there is some mis-information in the ford history page. It seems that the lincoln continental was introduced in 1939 and 1940. No biggie, just sayin.

1939

October 3 - Lincoln Continental introduced.

1941

March 1 - Ford builds first general purpose (G.P., or "jeep") vehicle for U.S. military at Rouge plant.

June 20 & 21 - Ford Motor Company signs its first closed-shop contract with UAW-CIO, covering 123,000 North American employees

Lincoln Continental is introduced.
