Awesome truck, man! I wonder if that 302 will get the same gas mileage as your straight 6? They are both great engines. The 302 looks great in there :thup:

Guess I should update a little. The day after I got the truck running, Dad came home from hospital. It was a friday, I fired it up for him and he was happy to here engine run and wanted to go for a ride. I took him on a short ride around town. He passed away the next day :( 10-20-13
I have a pic of me and my bro loading him up n truck for the ride, Ill post later

Here is a pic of dad back in 2000 installing pistons & rings on the engine. He was a nut lol

I did a cam swap. I had the muther thumper cam but it was too big, I now have the compcam 270h mag, see video...(copy/past above link)
It has been 7 months since I have worked on my truck and there is one wire coming out of the firewall wiring cluster that is white with red strip. Ive done a engine swap and went to the duraspark but I cant remember what this wire is for. It comes out the firewall about a ft then is cut and is just hanging there lol. Maybe i will figure it out tomorrow....
