This truck needs more blue!

Really though, I would at least pull the steering wheel and get some paint thinner and clean all that off. Next I would get some carpet, a new seat cover and pull and paint the heater box.

Past the interior and the blue overspay in the engine bay, the truck looks great. Have fun with it.

Well I just realized I hadn't taken any pics of the interior with the column swap. The one that's in the pics here is from a '76 (says so in paint pen on it, ). Since I got to TX I swapped out the column and steering wheel. I'll post some pics up later.

Eventually I want to pull the seat and put in something with headrests. Not sure about carpet...kicking around the idea of putting some bedliner on the floor instead.

A little bit. The motor is pretty tired, and the tranny needs some work, so it's not to the point of smoking the tires from a straight start.

that is the rear breather hose should go to frame and have a one way valve on the end so bugs wont get in.

Looking good so far man. Let us know how the Duraspark conversion works out. I will be doing this once some good weather comes around. Taking the 300 I6 out and dropping in a 351C with a 4 spd from a 78 F-350.

Speaking of the Duraspark conversion. Today I took it apart and put a piece of vacuum tubing around the little arm to further limit the advance since I didn't have a 10L plate around. Now the 400 runs very smooth and sounds like a car motor despite the glasspacks. So far no more detonation. I'm glad I did the conversion; and I should've done it in the first place instead of putting in the points conversion.

Did you fill in the holes on the dash or did you get it like that? the holes that would normally be for the dashpad.

The hose off that brake junction is the breather line for the rear axle. It mounts aft towards the bumper along the frame.
