A/C equped Glove Box

Post by bwc302 »

On trucks equipped with the factory A/C, did it have a glove box liner that was shorter (not as deep) as trucks that weren't equipped with A/C?

Thanks,

Bobby

Thanks, then I assume those are becoming hard to find since it was factory equipped trucks only not add on or dealer installed?

I haven't seen too many in the junk yards. But you do see some.

Here is a picture.

That glove box is just about good for nothing. If I had A/C I dont know if I would use the glove box.

That is true, from the pictures I saw the factory intregral A/C unit has an aux glove box built into it. guessing because the upper one becomes useless.... I think the a/c would come in more handy around here than the glove box would :)

That is correct. There's an aux in the A/C unit.

Both versions of the glovebox insert are being reproduced by the aftermarket, so they're not hard to get. I see them both on E-bay all the time for about $15-$20 IIRC.
