Wasn't this Trailer Special emblem used on late-'70s Fords? I ran across this in a box of parts a while back and have been meaning to find out for sure.

wether it originated there or not i found something similiar on a 75 f250 trailer special CS.

My 78 supercab had those emblems on it. Looked to be original to that truck. One on each side of the cowl, and one on tailgate.
