im in a bit of a time crunch so i was wondering what the piston rings should be gapped at on a 390 FE standard bore.

what do you mean gapped? the oil ring goes on the bottom the other two go in the top two holes.

nevermind found them on ford FE, top ring .015 to .023, second ring .010 to .020, oil rings .015 to .055 if anyone else needs them for reference

Also depends on the pistons you are using! If they are KB pistons then you need to fallow there instructions for there ring end gap! Otherwise you will have some sever problems. If they are OEM type pistons then you have nothing to worry about.....JMHO

the pistons are stock, we are just doing the bottom end on a 390 that only has 40,000 miles on it, no ridge just a hone bearings and rings
