View new post since:

Hi.

I don't know if there is a mod for phpBB to do this, but it sure would be nice to be able to see new post since and select a time frame.

Like:

New Posts
Since your last visit
Since last hour
Since last 3 hours
Since last 6 hours
Since last 9 hours
Since last 12 hours
Since yesterday
Since last 3 days
Since last week
Since last 2 weeks
Since last month

I know we have the since last visit and I use it often, but sometimes you don't get to finish reading and lose post...

I third it! I've been reading a post or two and my inernet connection will die, then it logs me out and I've got to log back in and guess whats new and what not.

That is a good idea, I go through the same thing over here.

I know something like this has been asked for before, but I'm not sure if the upgraded software will allow that. The software is also new enough that not many cool mods like that have been written for it yet, and unfortunately mods for the older version won't work. But I'll definitely look into it and see what I can find out.

OK, I checked into the specific features of the new software, and see that there's something new that's including which will basically allow the same thing:

- Topic Sorting - Sort by Author, Selectable Post Time, Replies, Subject and Views in descending or ascending order
- Post Sorting - Sort by Author, Selectable Post Time, and Subject in descending or ascending order

Should make finding the newest posts much easier to find.
