The FMX to C-6 swap required a couple of mods but none were hard to do.
The bellhousing on the FMX is 3 times as thick as the C-6 so I had to put in shorter bolts. Easy enough.

The trans crossmember had to be moved back about 2 1/2 inches. ( Longer tailshaft) Will have to drill 2 new holes. Easy to do also.

One more of the engine.

I learned the hard way that the header and starter have to be in at the same time. You can see in this pic its well behind the header.

The drive shaft from the donor truck as well as the carrier bolted right on my original rear drive shaft with no issues except drilling 2 new holes for the trans crossmember.

That is one sharp looking mill you have there!
I like the clean look. I'm not big on a lot of bling in the engine bay.

Painted a little today. Mostly inside the cab. Did a fender and the lower valance panel. It is hard to take pictures of paint and get the true colors so I put the ones up that most closely match the color I chose.

Its called Polo Green and looks a little more green than blue in person. Its a single stage metallic. Coming along nicely.

Spent all day sanding the cab. About 6 hours. I am glad I will probably never have to do this again.

Thanks for all the compliment and encouragement, I have to put it on hold for a year so I am trying to get as much done as possible. Leaving this Wednesday for the "sandbox"
