Gas Tank

Post by blue68 »

I have a crazy question. Will the "Behind the Seat" gas tanks from '67-72 work in a '65 truck?

Thanks

Looks like maybe YES
From the DC part book...
D0TZ-9002-A (A) 18.5 gal. F100-350 61-70 300.00 ea.
D1TZ-9002-A 18.5 gal. F100-350 71-72 300.00 ea.

The only difference in the 71-72 is how it is mounted in the cab... See Keiths info on this page, about half way down. :) http://www.fordification.com/67-72ID.htm
