stock rubber floormats

Post by mk »

I was just wondering if the gear/lightningbolt logo on the stock base model mats carried through all the 67-72 trucks.

I think Ford kinda missed the boat when they decided to drop that logo...
The gear and lightning bolt look great together...

Those were definitely available on the bumpsides as well. I've got pictures of an all-original low-mileage '71 F100 (less than 17,000 original miles!) with that lightning-bolt mat as well.

I've seen these lightning-bolt mats on too many other all-original bumpside trucks for these to be a pre-'67-only item.

Easier to fill the hole with a cap. Rather than make two dies to stamp the dash out.
