Florida Members' Meet-N-Greet at the Sumter Fairgrounds

Post by l1k2gadd »

Here we are again. There was talk about trying to put together a second get together for Florida members, and others from out of state that would like to make the trip. We have been discussing meeting at the Sumter County Faigrounds Show and Swap Meet, again, just north of Webster Florida. We will be sending PMs to Florida members shortly so everyone can try to make the arrangements far enough in advance (if possible).
Too many projects, too little time, but.. lovin' it!

Len,

Februaty the 3rd it is, you know I'll be there man!
Here is the show information again, (there's info and directions to the grounds in it).
http://www.floridaswapmeets.net/
If you haven't seen it, this is a really cool place.
Sure hope we can get more than the 10 Fordification members this time, to capture the show's "most members in attendance" plaque.

Everyone is welcome to come if they want to make the drive or will be in Florida and around the fairgrounds on Feb 3rd.

We'll look forward to you coming to one when you move closer to the state (where our winters seldom get below 30 degrees, like this week, it acually got to 22 degrees at my house).

How about a full size picture?

There are two weeks to go before the second Meet-N-Greet in the Webster area of Florida at the Sumter County Fairgrounds Swap Meet and Show. Everyone is welcome to attend and we look forward to meeting and hope to meet many more Fordification members that decide to make the trip.

Yee-Hah!

Can't wait for this one! Been looking forward to it for awhile now.
Sorry 67Merc but guys day out is just that.

And I should have someone special with me for the meet.
I'm getting my son back from the "looney-tunes" mother of his.
This will be his first "swap-meet" of any kind and maybe what he needs is to get bit by a "bumpbug" by seeing all our trucks.

Hey guys, (and gals?) just a reminder. This place is busier than a one-legged butt kicker!
They do want us there early.

That is what future Meet-N-Greets are for. We will hope you will be able to make the next one dduude.

Maybe by that time someone will come up with a different location for us to meet at (that will still be close to centrally located in Florida for everyone to travel to).

Yes, how about a full size pic, I would also like to know more about that color, I've been looking for a semi gloss non metalic grey sort of truck to see how it looks. I know this sounds like the desciption of primer, but I'm looking for real paint and that one looks good.

That is an old picture .. Right now it's in pieces. I am pretty sure the paint you are looking for you can get at a tractor supply . It's a semi flat . I will get the exact name from one of the guys in my club . A couple of them have been talking about that style and I know one guy painted his street rod that color. Dude 8)
