Newb here,1967 f100

Post by 1967BigRed »

Hi all,I am here for my dad's '67 f100 custom.I myself drive a 1983 chevy s10 and am on Mys10.com most of the time.
anyway-My dad bought 'Big Red' in 1996 and I was six at the time.He bought it from a guy at work(in the army). when he bought it it had a blown 351 (blown as in shot) and it had never had one dent since 1967.

My dad paid $250 for it and in a years time he put a '72 360 5.9 in it and had it magnafluxed and he professionally rebuilt it and the transmission in about 6 months with all new internal parts.then he put new floor pans in and bought all the manuals from technicians at a factory that made them in 1967.And each of the manuals have step by step[ instructions on how to put everything in to factory specs. It is a coil sprung 4wd with lockers and some old mud tires and has absolutely no frame/underbody or bed rust, just both front fenders need fixed. anybody have an Idea of how much hp and torque it is packing?

He has since then not driven it and it has sat for about 5-8 years without an oil change or any tune ups and I have gotten him to consider bringing it in the garage this fall to finish up the body.
