Help with electric fan and guages wiring

Post by 69rangerman »

Anybody know if the intake sensor can be wired up with an aftermarket temp guage and/or the original "TEMP" dash guage? It'd be nice to have all that reading off of the port just behind the thermostat instead of at different places around the intake.

I know squat about wiring/elect. but it seems like the intake sensor would be doing the same thing for all 3 items. Could I just splice them all together between the sensor and the dash?

Thanks

Unfortunately, most aftermarket temp sensors use a different voltage range to measure temperature. I believe that Spal makes a fan controller that can use the same sender though.

Yep, I haven't ever really seen any you can wire in like that, but I have heard really good things about the Spal's.
